The Hokkaido Tango Futon Frame is expertly crafted from premium Indonesian Mahogany hardwood, offering superior strength and durability compared to standard Rubberwood Bi-Fold Frames. This frame is reinforced from top to bottom to handle heavier futon mattresses, supporting up to 200 pounds more weight than our Rubberwood models.

Key features include thicker and wider front and back rails, each equipped with a support bar for added stability under additional weight. The seat and back decks feature extra slats, while the stretcher bar provides enhanced structural integrity. The frame’s wide top arms (3-5/8") add both style and functionality, and the larger bottom drawers provide ample storage for bedding and other essentials.

Designed to accommodate heavier loads while maintaining the same overall dimensions as the Rubberwood Bi-Fold Line (including Soho, Zena, and Mino models), the Hokkaido Tango combines rugged durability with practical elegance, making it an excellent choice for any living space.

First time buying from Futonland so wasn’t sure what to expect. The delivery experience went very smoothly, I got several calls to set up and confirm delivery times. The futon mattress itself is very comfortable, no weird smells (bought the Wool Wrap Cotton And Double Foam 8 Inch Futon Mattress by Gold Bond). Excellent quality of the furniture
Pay extra for the assembly of the futon even though I found it to be expensive and still question the cost. The delivery was on time and the technicians did assemble the futon and dispose of the packaging. They did well to check final step of assembly for any missed steps or imperfections with the furniture.

Very happy with murphy bed and excellent delivery service
Our murphy bed arrived earlier than expected, in great shape and was not difficult to put together. The people who delivered it went above and beyond to help us and were very kind. We really appreciated their great service. The mattress seems comfortable and there is plenty of extra room for storing sheets and a comforter. Would definitely buy from Futonland again!
