The Wilderness ten drawer log chesser is the largest piece in our log bedroom furniture collection. It is a combination of a chest of drawers and a dresser, so we called it a chesser. The four drawers in the top row work great for storing smaller clothing items like socks. The six larger drawers will hold larger items like bulky clothing, or rustic bedding. This log chesser is constructed of knotty Norway pine that is skip peeled. This means the log furniture has more pronounced character knots and a little bit of cambium or bark left on the outside of the log.

Features:

• All accent logs, handles, drawer fronts, and top are hand drawknifed to give each piece a rustic look
• All drawer boxes are solid maple with dovetail construction
• Drawers use side mount, epoxy coated, 3/4 extension roller slides that are rated for 100 pounds
• Aromatic red cedar lines the bottom of every top drawer
• Drawer fronts and tops are constructed of solid laminated strips of 1 1/2" Ponderosa pine which helps to prevent warping and cracking
• Finished with moisture resistant catalyzed lacquer to protect the cabinet
