The Verse is a certified organic kids mattress designed for the years between toddlerhood and adulthood, with comfortable support for growing bodies and cleaner materials parents can trust.
The Verse Organic Kids and Teen Mattress is designed for the years when support matters most, whether it’s a big-kid bed transition or a teen growth spurt. Made with organic cotton, organic wool, and supportive coils, it delivers a firm, comfortable feel without polyurethane foam (including memory foam) or latex, a common allergen for kiddos. We use breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics and fillings for a cooler sleep surface, and the durable encased coils offer steady support for growing muscles and bones. It’s a certified organic kids mattress made to feel just right for growing bodies – and reassuring for parents.
People choose mattresses without latex for two main reasons: material sensitivity and comfort preference. For kids, material sensitivity is a big deal. Parents may not yet know that their child is allergic to latex, especially for young children, and you don’t want their bed to be the place where you find out! Moreover, latex’s buoyant, rubber-like feel isn’t always able to offer the firm support that children’s growing bodies need for healthy development. The bottom line? Latex can be a great organic mattress material for adults, but for kids, skip it!
Children’s bodies change quickly, which makes consistent support especially important. A firm kids mattress or teen mattress helps keep the body on a more even sleep surface, reducing the deep sink that can pull growing sleepers out of comfortable alignment. For younger children transitioning out of a crib or toddler bed and older kids moving into their teen years, a firmer feel can offer the steady support they need without relying on soft foams that compress over time.
Kids can sleep hot, especially as they grow, dream, and squirm around at night. The Verse uses breathable organic cotton and moisture-wicking organic wool to help regulate comfort without the gels, foams, or questionable “cooling” additives you see in conventional mattresses. It’s an organic kids mattress designed to keep airflow clean and simple.
Individually encased coils give this kids mattress steady support while allowing the surface to respond to your child’s body. That means growing kids and teens get a firm, even feel without the deep sink of memory foam. The coil system also helps the mattress stay supportive over time, making it a smart mattress for kids who are still growing.
The Verse is designed for the in-between years: after the toddler bed, before adulthood, and through all the growth spurts in between. Its firm feel, durable build and organic materials make it a practical choice for parents searching for a kids mattress or teen mattress that won’t feel outgrown overnight. It’s supportive enough for older kids and even comfortable enough for adults, (making it a versatile option for guest rooms, too).
