Lightweight, airy, and oh-so-soft, the Organic Kapok Duvet Insert offers luxurious loft without unnecessary weight.
Experience the gentle loft of kapok – an airy, cloud-like natural fiber harvested from the seed pods of the kapok tree. Lighter than cotton and resistant to moisture, dust mites, and mildew, the Organic Kapok Duvet Insert offers a breathable, allergy-friendly, and plant-based alternative to down or synthetic comforters. It’s a modern essential for the well-made bed: grounded in nature, crafted to last.
Kapok’s downy fibers are remarkably lightweight – about eight times lighter than cotton – creating plush comfort without added weight. The fill gently insulates while allowing for natural airflow, helping to keep you cozy without overheating. With its light-as-air loft and breathable design, it’s the perfect layer for year-round comfort.
Kapok fibers are coated in a natural waxy layer that resists moisture, helping the fill stay fresh, dry, and breathable all night. This built-in resistance makes the duvet less prone to clumping or mildew, which is ideal for maintaining loft and comfort over time. It also helps your body to better regulate temperature and humidity, keeping your sleep environment more balanced in any season.
Kapok trees grow wild in tropical forests without the need for pesticides, irrigation, or agricultural land. Because kapok trees aren’t cut down to harvest the fiber, this process helps preserve biodiversity and supports regenerative forest ecosystems. A single kapok tree can produce hundreds of seed pods annually, making it an abundant, low-impact resource.
