The Natural Wool Futons collection reflects a strong dedication to sustainability and quality craftsmanship. Every mattress is made using carefully selected natural materials, including pure cotton and wool sourced from the rolling landscapes of Sonoma, California.
The wool is thoroughly cleaned and sorted without the use of harmful chemicals, ensuring both purity and environmental integrity. Raised in natural conditions, the sheep and lambs provide wool that remains entirely all-natural, highlighting eco-conscious sourcing at every step.
This futon mattress also includes two layers of GOLS-Certified Organic Latex imported from Sri Lanka. These latex layers provide additional comfort, resilience, and long-lasting support, while also supporting sustainable farming practices that protect natural resources.
For the casing, pre-washed cotton fabric is used to enhance comfort and reduce environmental impact. The fabric is carefully soaked to pre-shrink and remove impurities, creating a clean, eco-friendly foundation. Each futon is then handmade at our California factory, where skilled artisans sew the casing with care and precision. This detailed, hands-on approach ensures every mattress meets strict standards for comfort, durability, and sustainability, offering a product that is both environmentally responsible and thoughtfully crafted.
