With a cabinet back notch out of 1" x 6", the Nantucket accommodates most baseboards effortlessly. The floating safe piston lift mechanism adds an extra layer of convenience and safety. To open the bed, simply lift the panel foot towards the top to unlatch it. Then, grasp the hand hole and utilize your body weight to help the bed open slowly and smoothly towards the floor. Once partially opened, the bed will gracefully float down the rest of the way to the floor.
