Crafted in the U.S. from Farm-grown European Beech solids and domestic veneers, the Lodge bed guarantees superior durability. Keep your bedspread neatly in place with its mattress box surround (mattress not included) when you close the bed. To accommodate most baseboards seamlessly, we have carefully notched out the cabinet back by 1" x 6". Equipped with a floating safe piston lift mechanism, the bed opens gracefully and slowly towards the floor. Simply grasp the center handles and utilize your body weight to assist in the smooth descent of the bed. Once partially opened, the bed effortlessly floats down the rest of the way, offering a seamless and convenient experience.

Accepts standard mattresses up to 12" thick (not included).
