The Brighton is a solid wood Futon that includes a square steel reflex back and bottom deck wrapped with a durable Trampoline material that creates a tough even surface to support the mattress and prevent sagging. The arm rests sit on top of a magazine rack all finished in a beautiful Burnished Oak wood color that will blend well with a variety of decors making a strong statement that gets admiring looks and compliments any room with style.

Care Instructions:

  • Wood Care: Wipe spills quickly with a clean soft cloth. Some types of paper towels may leave marks and are not recommended. After wiping spills and during normal maintenance, use a non-silicone-based furniture polish on all wood surfaces. Periodic tightening of the bolts is recommended depending on use.
  • Mattress Care: Use a clean damp cloth with warm water and a mild detergent to remove any unsightly surface stains on the mattress. Test a small hidden area first to make sure the soap you're using does not further stain or change the color of the mattress. Avoid soaking the mattress as this may cause damage. Periodic vacuuming of the mattress is recommended.

The futon mattress itself is very comfortable, no weird smells (bought the Wool Wrap Cotton And Double Foam 8 Inch Futon Mattress by Gold Bond). Excellent quality of the furniture
Pay extra for the assembly of the futon even though I found it to be expensive and still question the cost. The delivery was on time and the technicians did assemble the futon and dispose of the packaging. They did well to check final step of assembly for any missed steps or imperfections with the furniture.

Very happy with murphy bed and excellent delivery service
Our murphy bed arrived earlier than expected, in great shape and was not difficult to put together. The people who delivered it went above and beyond to help us and were very kind. We really appreciated their great service. The mattress seems comfortable and there is plenty of extra room for storing sheets and a comforter. Would definitely buy from Futonland again!
